Imprint
The design phase of a project, in one place
From the first questionnaire to a signed-off design — the brief, the site visit, the sourcing, the presentation and the approval, without leaving one workspace.
For designers at Lotus Design Partners. Clients never sign in.
It replaces the patchwork, not one tool
A residential project currently lives across Designfiles, a Google Doc for the brief, a spreadsheet for the budget and a pile of browser bookmarks for the sourcing. Nothing is wrong with any of them individually. The cost is in the seams — the same measurement typed three times, the client’s answers in one place and the brief they shaped in another, and no single screen that says what is waiting on you this morning.

Orders and deliveries — Phase 2
Ordering, deliveries and payments are Stage 7, and Imprint does not do them yet. They are listed rather than hidden, so it is clear where the boundary sits.
What it will not do
Invent a photograph
Every image in a brief or a presentation is a real, sourced, attributed photograph. Imprint generates none, and never will — a generated room is a promise no supplier can fill, and showing one to a client is a debt that comes due at the order stage.
Decide anything
The AI proposes; the designer disposes. Every output is editable and nothing is ever committed to a final state on her behalf. A tool that quietly overrules the person whose name is on the work is worth less than no tool.
Email your client
Imprint mints links; you send them, in your own words. Your client opens Imprint three times in a whole project — the questionnaire, the brief, and the presentation — and every time it wears your studio’s name, not ours.
Forget what you rejected
Every image you keep and every one you throw away is recorded. Over a few projects that becomes the firm’s own library, searched before the open web — cheaper every time, and more like you.
